About

George Patterson is a Lecturer in the Master of Science in Project Management Program.他has over 30 years of experience in Project/Program Management and held senior management positions in several industrial segments. He has international experience and managed projects throughout the United States as well as Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, France and Germany. His industry experience is diverse and includes Semiconductor Test Systems, Software Development, Medical Device product development and manufacturing, Military Avionics Test Systems and product development and manufacturing of several consumer and commercial products.

他held significant roles in Program Management as well as having Profit and Loss responsibility in two organizations. His experience includes project and portfolio management, project planning, scheduling and implementation, financial analysis and prioritization of the project portfolio. His role also included change management in several industries improving both processes and procedures. He was responsible for strategic planning, capacity planning and projects designed to increase capacity, reduce costs and improve process efficiency. He was responsible for transferring technology to multiple locations and developing new products to improve the organizations competitive position in the market. Since his experience includes both senior management and program management, he has a great understanding of managing the role of an individual contributor in an executive environment.

他is a member of the Project Management Instituteand is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). He has also earned the Project Management Masters Certificate from Boston University.
